Frequently Asked Questions

1. What makes your therapy services affordable?

We believe that mental health support should be accessible to everyone. Our sessions start at $50, with your first session completely free. This allows you to meet your therapist, discuss your goals, and see if it’s the right fit — no pressure or commitment required.

2. Do you offer online or in-person therapy?

We offer secure online therapy sessions across Ontario and most provinces in Canada. All sessions are conducted through an encrypted video platform to protect your privacy.

3. Who will I be working with?

You’ll be matched with a qualified therapist or intern therapist based on your needs and preferences. All therapists are supervised by a licensed clinician to ensure quality care and professional oversight.

4. What types of therapy do you offer?

Our therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Couples and Relationship Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy and more.

We’ll help match you with the approach that best fits your goals.

5. How does the first free session work?

Your first session is a 50-minute consultation with our intern therapists, or a brief 10 minute consultation with our senior level therapists where you can share your concerns, learn about the therapy process, and ask any questions. It’s a chance for both you and the therapist to see if it feels like a good fit.

We ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to the full session fee, except in emergencies.

11. How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or want to better understand yourself or your relationships, therapy can help. Your free first session is a great way to explore whether it’s right for you — there’s nothing to lose and support to gain.

12. Do you offer therapy for children, teens, or couples?
